Veterinarian (Full-Time)
Location: RainTree Veterinary Hospital – Comox, BC
Schedule: 4 Days a Week

About the Role
You’ll be joining a close-knit, experienced team that values communication, collaboration, and high-quality medicine. Our hospital is fully equipped, featuring digital radiography, dental radiography, an in-house lab, and a surgical suite, to name a few.
We have a strong interest in canine rehabilitation and offer acupuncture, therapeutic laser, and PRP treatments. We also offer on-site ultrasound and endoscopy through visiting practitioners, allowing us to handle cases in-house and provide a seamless experience for clients.
You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients and patients while practicing a thoughtful, personalized approach to care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in all aspects of patient care, including surgeries, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Perform routine procedures such as blood draws, lab tests, radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Provide compassionate care and comfort to our patients and their families.
- Educate pet owners on proper care, preventive health, and post-treatment home care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Support and mentor veterinary assistants and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in good standing.
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about animal care and committed to continuous learning and professional development.
